Technical phone screen (45 mins): (Could not solve second fully, but explained the approach and wrote pseudocode)

  1. https://leetcode.com/problems/merge-sorted-array/
  2. https://leetcode.com/problems/minimum-remove-to-make-valid-parentheses/

Onsite (4 rounds):

  1. Coding 1: (Could not solve second)
  1. https://leetcode.com/problems/clone-graph/
  2. https://leetcode.com/discuss/interview-question/633689/Facebook-or-PhoneVideo-or-Find-Cheese
  1. Behavioral: (Went good)
Standard quesitons: areas of improvement, conlict with collegue, project was delayed, project most proud of, conflict with collegue where you were wrong at the end.
  2. Mobile system design: (Went average)
    Design a photo messaging app
  3. Coding 2: (Went excellent)
  1. https://leetcode.com/problems/nested-list-weight-sum-ii/
  2. https://leetcode.com/problems/lowest-common-ancestor-of-a-binary-tree/

Result: Reject mostly based on coding rounds

My recommendations to prepare for Meta interviews:

  1. Coding rounds mostly on top 100-150 from facebook list, it should be enough
  2. Behavioral also some pretty standard quesitons, just prepare 1-2 story for each in STAR
  3. For mobile system design, you better do more mocks
