I recently interviewed with Amazon, and while I answered all the questions, I was ultimately not selected.

LPs Round:
The interview began with brief introduction then questions centered around Amazon’s LPs. I was asked about handling strict deadlines and dealing with extended deadlines where a feature faced heavy load. I shared relevant experiences but, in hindsight, I could have highlighted my decision-making and leadership qualities more effectively.

Screening Round: DSA + System Design
The technical portion covered distributed systems, unique ID generation, and message queues. I discussed concepts like data consistency, fault tolerance, and message queue benefits.

In the coding exercise, I implemented a stack class, including dynamic sizing and type handling. I explained my approach to managing memory and supporting various data types.

I think my responses to Amazon’s Leadership Principles (LPs) could have been stronger, which may have impacted the outcome. Also, the position required quite a bit of experience, and I didn't have that much, so could have improved my System Design basics.
