Status: 4 YOE
Position: SWE (quit my previous job due to lack of growth)
Location: New York

I interviewed for 2 SSE positions In new York. The interview consisted of the following rounds:

  1. HR round where I described my experience and applied for 2 SSE roles.

  2. Phone screen (1 hour). I got LC medium question for 1 team and LC hard for another.

  3. Got moved to onsite for both teams. For the first team, I passed all technical rounds and was moved to the hiring manager round.
    For second team, I felt that I did well on the technical rounds, but did not get to the hiring manager round.

  4. I received rejection emails for both positions with no feedback. I'm not sure what they are looking for. It seems like it depends on whether the hiring manager likes you or not.
