How I applied: I applied via a referral, got rejection the next day. Then I applied directly after a while to a new opening. I don't know which application worked. HR contacted me after a month of my last application.

Interview Rounds:

Screening Round(Karat):
System design questions from this interview experience and DSA questions from this interview experience.
I was able to complete 1 DSA question and partial question two(also gave the correct approach). Not sure how I did in SD but I cleared this round.
You get two attempts with Karat. Second attempt gets cancelled if you clear the first one. You need to schedule the second attempt after the first one is done.
Coding Round:
Standard Rate Limiting question with atlassian. Did it using token bucket algo. Used strategy design pattern as well. There was a follow up regarding we want to roll over unutilised requests to the next window upto a maximum limit. I was able to solve that too.
Coding Round:
Round 2 from this interview experience. There was a follow up mentioning hierarichal collections (one collection can contain sub collections). Solved fully.
System Design Round:
Design popular feed for confluence (similar to youtube trends). Not personalized. User shouldn't see the content they have already seen and it should be a realtime sort of system without much delay in updating top n. Had healthy discussions, went pretty good.
Management Round:
Situational Questions. Discussed projects as examples (not really technical details). Stuff like conflicts, how did you convince someone of your design etc. Milestones of project etc.
Values Round:
A question about each value of atlassian. Situational with examples.

Took around a week after last round to get hire call from HC and team matching done the next day.
