Microsoft | SSE | Hyderabad

I am writing this post to share my recent interview experience with Microsoft and also to know if anyone else attended the same interview drive and how it went for them.

I have got a call for Senior Software Engineer role in Microsoft for 5th June drive, as it is a drive so the date was fixed and cant able to reschedule. The recruiter scheduled 2 rounds of interview and told me to join both the rounds in the same link provided and asked me to available for the entire day as there could be more rounds.

1st round: the panel gave me a problem and it was mostly OOP concepts round where I have to figure out which design pattern I have to use, creating classes and all.

2nd Round: It was a system design round which is mostly started with the HLD and then LLD like api calls and api contracts and so on.

After around 2hrs I got call from the recruiter and she wanted to schedule 3rd round of interview in half and hour, as I was having lunch, so asked to push it after 1hr and she agreed.

3rd Round: This is again a system design round and some technical questions,this round was a bit shaky for me as generally I expected system design rounds with high volume data, lot of traffic and where I can discuss on various design systems, but it was a very small system and can be done in monolithic architecture and I was not getting much things to discuss.

Verdict: Pending as I did not get any update yet

Please let me know if anyone attended 5th June drive and get positive response on that day itself or information for further rounds on next days.
