My Google Interview Experience

Current Experience:

Position: SDE2 at a Fintech company
Years of Experience: ~5 years

Interview Journey:
After passing the initial screening round, I was invited for four onsite interviews in April-May. Out of these, I received three positive feedbacks and one negative.

Despite the mixed feedback, I was matched with a team. However, when my profile went to the Hiring Committee , it was rejected due to the negative feedback from one of the rounds. My recruiter reached out to offer an L3 level role, which I immediately declined.

About a month later, my recruiter contacted me again, mentioning that the team was still interested in me. They proposed scheduling two additional rounds and resubmitting my profile. I completed the two additional rounds and received positive feedback for both. My profile has been resubmitted to the HC, and I am currently awaiting the result.
