Education: Tier-3 College, 2022 passout
Position: SDE1 at a mid range Product based Company

Applied on the careers website and 2 different recruiters reached out to me for different position. I started interview process with the recruiter that contacted me first and recruiter 2 mentioned that if the verdict is not positive for the first role, then asked to contact him. There is no cool off period at ServiceNow

Screen Round with HM:

  1. Discussed about past projects.
  2. Reasons for leaving current organisation.
  3. Discussed on some cloud concepts.
  4. Day to Day Responsibilties.
  5. Discussion about the work their team do.
  6. Some other normal questions.

HM mentioned that recruiter will reachout to me to schedule 3 technical interviews and then I will have a final HM round with him again.

Technical Round 1:

  1. Question Related to Fibonocci series

  2. A heap based question related to priority.

  3. An SQL Query.

  4. Merge Sort and Quick Sort Pseudocodes.

  5. Find second smallest number in the given array. Need to handle edge cases correctly.

  6. A Javascript Question - asked to debug the code.

  7. Asked if I am willing to learn Java. As I am currently working on .NET

  8. Few Other Questions, which I don't remember.

Technical Round 2:

  1. Given a Scenario where there are employees and office building and access cards, need to build a schema to handle some scenarios on that.
  2. Perform Division without using divison operator. Need to Handle for negative numbers too.
  3. Discussed on Indexing in databases? What are the pros and cons of it, how does the storing into database happens etc.
  4. Tell me about a scenario where you have solved a complex problem.
  5. Tell me a scenario where your manager gave you a feedback and what did you do to improve that.

Verdict: The feedback of both the rounds is very much positive and they wanted to schedule other round. But however I have other offers in hand, hence told the recruiter that I don't want to continue with the position.
