Here is my interview experience with Google. will try to keep it crips and clear.

Verdict - Rejected

Quick Background

  • College - Tier-3 (2020 grad)
  • Current Role - Backend Developer at FinTech firm
  • Tech Stack - Java and ReactJs

Application Process
For this role, I applied through google careers page, don't know how many time I have applied in total since college days.
Luckily got call from recruiter that they are ready to move forward with my application this time.
So after this phone call with recruiter, technical screening was scheduled.

Round 1(Technical Screening)
One DSA question asked based on Stack, variant of postfix notation.
Feedback of this round was positive, so after this virtual onsite was scheduled, which includes 3 DSA and one Googlyness round.

Round 2(Onsite 1)
In this DSA round, question was asked based on Tree, variant inorder traversal.

Round 3(Onsite 2)
In this DSA round, question was asked based on N-ary Tree, variant preorder traversal.

Round 4(Onsite 3)
In this DSA round, question was asked based on 2 pointers.

Round 5(Onsite 4)
In this Googlyness round, question was asked related to my work and projects which I have done in my current and previous organization, and other LP questions.

Timeline
I applied in last week of October 2023, process started in Nov first week, all onsite rounds were scheduled in last week of Dec. and got feedback 3 weeks after onsite round.

Overall feedback is negative but will keep trying...
