Status: 1.4 years experience, SE at ThoughtWorks
Position: SE2 Backend at Intuit

I got to know about this opportunity from Instahyre and then asked for Referral from LinkedIn. After few weeks got a call from HR .

Round 1 : Online coding test
-Comprised of 5 MCQ questions and 2 coding question. Difficulty of Coding Question was LC medium.

Round 2 : Screening Round (Around 1hr)
-Started with Introduction then I got one question of Kadan's Algorithm followed up with one variation of same.Then he asked question from Java,Reacts JS,Basic Backend Concept .After this round I got call from HR saying that u are not fit for FullStack Role we can consider you for Backend Role .

Round 3: Technical + Craft question round (1.5 hour)

  • A question was sent 2 day earlier to be solved and discussed on Craft Round day. The problem Statement was to Design a URL Shortener with lots of requirement .

  • A lot of questions were asked related to Design,DB selection,API's Design,Handling Exceptions,Design Pattern,hashing algorithm,HLD concepts and a lot.

Round 4 : Technical Round(1 hour)

Started with 1 coding question : https://leetcode.com/problems/sliding-window-maximum/description/.
Questions on REST API, OOP,Again from Craft demo design,My Current project,DB indexing,Sharding,Load Balancer.

Round 5 : Technical Interview(45 min)

There were 3 easy coding question and 1 LLD. The code had to compiled and executed

Then some question related to Core Java, Spring,Springboot,Spring MVC,ORM,CMP theorm,Caching,Messaging Queue.

Round 6 : HM round(30 mins)

Discussion about previous projects and situation based questions.
Questions about why I wanted to change my current org and other standard behavioural questions.

Got the call 10 min later once all the rounds were over. The interviews went smooth.Recruiter told me that since you have less experience and we are looking for someone who is having more that 2.5 yrs of Experience so for now we can keep you on hold . Overall experience was great.
